Now, I get to tell you about something extra special about keith urban, he really has some of the greatest fans on this earth, But keith doesn't like to call them his fans, he calls them his friends,
and here in oz, we call friends,"mates" .. because fans is short for fanatics, ahh yes many of keiths fans are fanatics, but what they are fanatical about is very different than what most followers of a singer are crazy about..

Keith inspires in a very different way than most. The lyrics of his songs, are able to touch the inner soul of anyone that listens closely, he shares through his lyrics, many of the hardships we have all faced at one time in our lives , and his songs draw the most amazing people that I have ever
encountered in my life. Had anyone told me, since becoming interested in keith, that I would have had the opportunity to meet with so many wonderful special kindhearted people this world pocesses, I would have thought them crazy!.

Here in Australia, it is not a known thing for people to join fanclubs, it does appear to be a big thing in America, In fact I would have never considered joining a fanclub, I thought it was just something that teeny boppers did. I have since changed my opinion on this. Keiths youngest fan is 5hrs old, and his eldest is 85.Your never to young and never too old

In fact it was an American (Dorena) that joined me up to keiths fanclub in America, as a birthday gift to me.

His "mates" are inspired by him, They see this larikin from Australia, who is able to care about others, who shares his silly side with all..Who takes time before a performance, to meet with them, and chat. Every single person that has a meet and greet with keith, comes away touched... because he listens, he looks in your eyes, he asks questions, none of it is any kind of performance, When he shares time with his "mates" it is personal time..

I am not sure, if keith just draws the nicest people of the world, or if they become that way through the things that keith inspires in them. Some call it keith karma! I would like to share stories and photos and showcase the many urbanites of the world.
