COUNTRY MUSIC SUPPORTS PARALYMPICS

Wave To The World is an official fundraising project for the Paralympic Games. The Paralympic Games have followed the Olympic Games into the very same venues for the past forty years sadly with little fanfare or recognition. The Wave To The World project was created to bring focus and recognition to the extraordinary athletes who represent their country at the Paralympic Games. Four thousand five hundred (4,500) athletes from 125 countries will meet in Sydney, Australia October 18 through the 28th. All of them, elite in their sport, have earned the right to represent their country through the same trials and training as their Olympic counterparts.

Earlier this year, an all-star cast of country music artists donated their talents to record the Wave To The World theme song at Nashville¹s Ocean Way Studios. The song (written by Gary Burr, V
ictoria Shaw and Joe Henry; produced by Gary Burr) features Vince Gill, keith urban, Amy Grant, Dolly Parton, Ty Herndon, Hal Ketchum, Lari White, Charlie Daniels, B.J. Thomas, Bellamy Brothers, Chely Wright, Bonnie Bramlett, Craig Morgan, South Sixty-Five, Danni Leigh, Shenandoah, Kasey Jones, Lynn Anderson, Jeannie Seely and Australian recording artist.

This week, the Wave To The World single and video will be released to country radio stations and video outlets nation wide. We are asking for programmers support to add the song/video to their play list and direct listeners/viewers to the telephone number and web site to place their order for this collectors limited edition CD (not available in stores). Wave To The World is featured on the October CDX (Release No. 250/Track No.22). The video will be distributed to outlets the week of October 16, 2000.

The theme song headlines a 10-song country CD of hits including:
