SANTA MONICA, Calif. (February 2, 2004) — Among the latest performances announced for the 46th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast are Prince, The Black Eyed Peas with Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé; a special segment celebrating the 40th Anniversary of The Beatles' first U.S. appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" featuring Sting, Dave Matthews, Vince Gill, and Pharrell Williams; and a tribute to late singer/songwriter Warren Zevon with Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, Timothy B. Schmit, Billy Bob Thornton, Dwight Yoakam and Jorge Calderón, it was announced today by the Recording Academy. In addition, Britney Spears, Keith Urban, Babyface, and Joshua Bell will make appearances as presenters. The music industry's premier event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (EST/PST). The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide, and covered online at GRAMMY.com.
