GOODMORNING AMERICA AUG 2005

The show was great. Keith and the guys were tight and sounded fantastic. His vocals were spot on. There were tons of signs, but everyone put them down at certain times. I'm sure they were asked to by the show. One girl in the audience was given the shirt that Keith wears in the new DVD coming out. It was autographed. Lucky girl!!
Our local news is always on right before GMA. It was one man and three women this morning. The guy mentioned that Keith was coming up on GMA and said, "I know everyone sitting here is thrilled." After he did that, these three adult women starting giggling. I heard one off camera go, "Woo Hoo!". I really cracked up at that.
When they came back for a local update before DGB came on, the weather girl was talking about the Toby Keith show here tonight in Phoenix and accidentally said Keith Urban. She laughed when she did it, corrected herself and then rolled her eyes at herself.
Keith reduces us all to goo, even the professionals.
Diane Sawyer's eyes looked glazed as she was talking to him. The other woman acted like she was going to put her leg around him. They were funny to watch.
Keith made a good statement about the recent rumors and tabloids. He said to the audience, "I don't read them and neither should you!" Good enough for me!
At the end, they started to play YTOM and cut the feed. I'm sure the people in the park got a great mini show from our guy.
Congratulations to Keith and the guys for a great performance! We're proud of all of you.
