Keith Urban in the FOX Theatre! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Keith AND the
venue! I have never been in such a gorgeous concert hall...the interior
looked like it came right out of an Aladdin movie and the ceiling had
stars twinkling. Even Keith commented on how beautiful it was! Keith's
OWN headling tour (I'm so excited for him!) started in the dark and
Keith, with a faint light on him, playing These Are the Days while he
sat on top of his huge speakers...the excitement was overwhelming...this
was so different than his past tours where the show starts with his band
playing WWWBM...there was Keith all by himself tinkling on the
guitar...then the lights go down...he moves to front stage, the band
members come out, the lights come on and Keith and co. JAM to Days Go
By! Phenominal...the energy...he went right into You're My Better
Half...what a great song! I did get a picture of him holding his arm
around the "pretend" partner "by his side"...His set list includes more
from Be Here than I originally thought he said he would sing...the rest
came from GR... These Are the Days
Days Go By
You're My Better Half
Blacktop
Raining On Sunday (Out of this world guitar...blows me away every time!)
You Look Good in my Shirt (he laid down on the stage, took someone's
cell phone, held it up and took his
picture with her...AMAZING! First row is so lucky!)
Then the band left, but Keith did not take a seat like he usually
does...he played Homespun Love standing up and added I Hear You
Knockin'...I was ecstatic when he started that beat he does on the

guitar...he makes this "drum" beat on the guitar and then bops the mic
and it is just the coolest thing! After that and we all yelled ALOT!
they brought out his chair and he sang: Making Memories of Us (Just
beautiful!)
You're My Everything
Jeans on

and one of my personal favorites, You'll Think of Me (the passion in
that song gets me every time!) Then the chairs are taken away and Keith
and his new band continue with Free Fallin' (our competition was between
the upper deck and lower deck...then Keith asked to repeat after him
these WAY-OH's! We did several and at the end he made this really long
one that had rolling tongue sounds and all and when we tried to repeat
him, we didn't do so well...Keith held the mic up and let it droop...it
was SO FUNNY! Then it was near the end...so sad...and he played Somebody
Like You...jammin session!!!
She's Gotta Be (Keith about rocked this song right off the stage...I am a much
bigger fan of this song after seeing Keith play it live...it starts out with one of
his new band members, Chad-he took Jason's place-playing the acoustic and the
spotlight on him, then Keith joins in and it is absolutely one of the highlights of
the show...just amazing rocking energy...phenominal!)

Well, we did not want it to end and THE FOX
was so loud...Keith came back out by himself..
.Well while it was dark
you could see the set guys setting up a keyboard and they lowered this
light from the ceiling. Then Keith walked out, sat down and played
Tonight I Wanna Cry. It was so beautiful...well, I'm a sucker for a
beautiful piano song anyway and Keith played and sang that song with
such passion and intensity. Very moving...the entire venue was
quiet...then we erupted when he finished! The rest of the band came out
and they sang Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me and finished with These Are the
Days...what a great ending to a great concert...brought us back around
full circle to LIVE YOUR LIFE...THESE ARE THE DAYS! I just love the
philosophy of Keith's music...if you can say that...it has taught me
when I get stressed with the busy-ness of the day to stop, take a deep
breath and remember to appreciate where I am...if the kids are screaming
at each other in the back seat of the car, I have 3 reports due by the
end of the day in the office, dinner boiled over on the stage and kids'
homework is taking 4 hours...I have a blessed life and I need to
appreciate it all...good and bad... Thank you Keith for a great show and
for your reminders of Faith Hope Live and Love. Oh yeah! I wanted to
tell you that I took a friend with me to this show. She has never been
to a concert, EVER! She is not a huge Keith fan, but she likes his

music. Well, she loved the show and wants to go to another show! : )
Also, it took us NINE hours to drive to Atlanta, we had thought it would
take us 6 or 7. Well we decided we needed to let Keith know how far we
went for him...So we made a sign and it said:
9 HOURS AND 3 STATES LATER...WE ARE HERE 2 ROCK WITH U!
I was so happy that Keith saw it and read it...he smiled and looked down
at my little face smiling back at him nodding and told me thank you. I
just wanted him to know that he is WORTH that long drive! We appreciate
him and his music so much! It was a phenominal show and we had a great
time! I'm so happy to report another Keith fan has been born! : )
